Displayer

Privacy policy

This page explains what Displayer collects, why, how long it is kept and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who operates this service

Displayer, the service at displayer.ai, is operated by Marketcode Sp. z o.o., a private limited company registered in Poland (ul. Mogilska 43, 31-545 Kraków, Poland, KRS 0001004108, NIP 675-177-40-99). Marketcode Sp. z o.o. is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Questions about this policy, and any request about your data, go to [email protected].

What we collect when you sign up

  • The email address you enter in the signup window
  • A six digit confirmation code and the time it expires
  • The page or button that opened the signup window, so we know which part of the site was useful
  • Campaign parameters in the link you arrived through, if there were any, and the referring address
  • The IP address and browser user agent of the request, to stop automated abuse

What we collect when you run screens

  • The content you upload: images, video, web addresses, notices and the text on your layouts
  • The names, locations, groups and tags you give your screens
  • Play records: which item a screen rendered and when
  • Periodic screenshots returned by your screens, which are pictures of your own content
  • Technical status from each player: connection, resolution, storage and errors

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, phone numbers or postal addresses at signup, because the form asks for an email address and nothing else. We do not fingerprint visitors across other websites, we do not sell data to anyone, and we do not use your content to train models.

Why we hold it

  • To create your account and let you sign in to it
  • To deliver the right content to the right screen at the right time
  • To show you what played, and to raise an alert when a screen stops
  • To bill the number of screens that were active in a period
  • To answer your support messages and keep a thread of them
  • To keep the service secure, and to investigate abuse

We do not send marketing email to an address that only signed up, beyond what is needed to set the account up and tell you it is ready.

How long we keep it

  • Signup rows are kept while the account exists, and for 24 months after it closes if the account was never confirmed
  • Confirmation codes expire after 30 minutes and are cleared by a scheduled job
  • Your uploaded content is kept while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days of closure
  • Play records and screenshots are kept for 13 months, so a campaign can be reported against the year before
  • Support threads are kept for 24 months

Who else sees it

Your data stays inside your workspace and is visible to the people you invite, according to the role you give them. Beyond that, it is handled by the infrastructure suppliers the service runs on: hosting, storage, email delivery and, where you buy a subscription, the payment processor. Each of them sees only what its job requires, and none of them is given your content to use for anything else.

We disclose data to an authority only where the law of the relevant jurisdiction requires it, and we tell you when we are allowed to.

Your rights over your data

  • Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
  • Correct anything wrong
  • Have your account and its content deleted
  • Export your media and your play records before you close the account
  • Object to a use you disagree with, and withdraw consent where consent was the basis
  • Complain to the supervisory authority in your country

Write to [email protected] and we act within 30 days. We answer from the same address, so the reply arrives in the thread you started.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets a session cookie so a form submission is tied to the browser that made it, and a cookie that remembers your consent choice. The screen builder keeps your inputs in the browser, on your device, so a reload does not lose your work. There is no advertising cookie on this site and no cross site tracking pixel.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top, and we email account holders if the change affects what we collect or how long we keep it. The previous wording is available on request.
