Samsung VXT pricing and the Samsung VXT CMS license cost per screen for each series

Samsung VXT is sold per screen per year, and Samsung does not publish a US price list: its own pricing page says to contact sales. US software directories list VXT CMS S Series at about 20 USD per screen a month or 200 USD a year, CMS P Series at about 40 USD a month or 400 USD a year, and the separate remote management plans, RM S and RM P, at about 100 and 200 USD a year. The X Series is quoted. Twenty five screens on the P Series, the tier with single sign-on and proof of play, come to about 10,000 USD a year, so the tier you need matters more than the headline rate.

Samsung VXT pricing at a glance

VXT has two product lines. VXT CMS is the content management system that schedules what plays. VXT RM is remote management of the displays themselves: power, input, brightness, health alerts. Each line has its own series. The US figures below come from third-party software directories (iTechGuides, checked September 2026, and G2's VXT listing); the euro figures come from VXT Services, a European VXT reseller, in October 2026.

VXT plan US price per screen European reseller price Billing
CMS S Series About 20 USD a month or 200 USD a year 99 to 140 EUR a year Per screen
CMS P Series About 40 USD a month or 400 USD a year 299 to 340 EUR a year Per screen
CMS X Series Quoted by Samsung Quoted Per screen, enterprise contract
RM S Series About 10 USD a month or 100 USD a year 75 EUR a year Per screen
RM P Series About 20 USD a month or 200 USD a year 140 EUR a year Per screen

The reseller shows two different prices for the same S and P plans on two of its own pages, which tells you something about VXT pricing in general: it moves, and it depends on who sells it to you. Treat these as the range to budget against, and get a written quote with the term and renewal rate on it.

What each VXT series includes

The S Series is the entry content tier: drag and drop editing, scheduling, a library of 170+ templates, cloud distribution, and basic remote on and off and status checks.

The P Series includes everything in S and both remote management tiers, and adds what a multi-site organization usually asks for: 250+ templates, Sync Play for video walls, proof of play, single sign-on with private certificates, bulk enrollment of screens, energy management, email and SMS alerts, API access and remote software updates.

The X Series has every P Series function plus Samsung's 24/7 live call support and its professional services layer. Samsung positions it for airports, hospitals and financial institutions, and prices it by contract.

RM S and RM P are for remote control of the panels. RM S covers power, orientation, status and control locking with business hours email support. RM P adds power consumption and temperature monitoring, backlight control, holiday scheduling, early warnings for network and software errors and 24/7 email support. If you run content from another CMS but want Samsung's panel management, RM is the line you buy.

What Samsung VXT costs for 10, 25 and 100 screens

At the US directory rates, billed yearly:

Screens CMS S Series CMS P Series RM S only
10 2,000 USD 4,000 USD 1,000 USD
25 5,000 USD 10,000 USD 2,500 USD
100 20,000 USD 40,000 USD 10,000 USD

The jump from S to P doubles the bill, and most organizations with more than one site end up on P, because single sign-on, proof of play and alerts all sit there. A 25 screen network that starts on S at 5,000 USD and is then told by IT to put signage behind the company login is looking at 10,000 USD a year.

The costs outside the per screen rate

Four lines do not show up in the per screen price.

  • Onboarding and training. The European reseller lists onboarding at 998 EUR, CMS training at 499 EUR and consultancy at 110 EUR an hour. US resellers price their own services.
  • The displays. VXT is built for Samsung commercial displays running Tizen. It also runs on non-Samsung players: Samsung lists Android 10 and later, Windows 11 and BrightSign Series 9 as compatible. Older consumer TVs and other brands' panels need one of those as a player.
  • Financing terms. Samsung offers VXT financing through First Citizens Bank with a 10,000 USD minimum, which shows the size of deployment Samsung expects.
  • Your own content time. Templates help, but someone still builds the menu, the notice and the campaign, and VXT's editor is the tool they will use every week.

Is there a free trial of Samsung VXT?

Yes. Samsung's service description gives three S Series licenses for 60 days, on real displays or virtual VXT players, and lets you switch on a P Series trial from inside it when you click a P feature. Samsung's pricing page says no payment details are needed to start. There is no free plan after the trial.

Samsung VXT compared with other digital signage pricing

Twenty five screens for one year at published or directory rates. VXT P Series and Displayer Network are the rows with single sign-on.

Platform and tier Per screen a year 25 screens a year Proof of play
Xibo Cloud Professional 58.80 USD 1,470 USD 62 day log
Displayer Essential, yearly 108 USD 2,700 USD Not on this plan
OptiSigns Pro, yearly 135 USD 3,375 USD Log
Yodeck Premium 144 USD 3,600 USD Playback reports
Displayer Professional, yearly 168 USD 4,200 USD Log plus stored screenshots
Samsung VXT CMS S Series About 200 USD About 5,000 USD Not on this plan
Displayer Network, yearly, with SSO 288 USD 7,200 USD Log plus stored screenshots
Samsung VXT CMS P Series, with SSO About 400 USD About 10,000 USD Yes

Xibo Cloud is the cheapest route by a distance, and Yodeck and OptiSigns sit below VXT's entry tier. Where VXT earns its price is Samsung panel control: input, brightness, temperature and power from the same vendor that made the display. If every screen you own is a Samsung commercial display and that control matters, VXT is a reasonable buy. If your screens are a mix of brands, or your evidence need is a picture rather than a log line, the comparison is different. Displayer runs in the display's browser, Samsung's Tizen browser included, and on Professional at 14 USD a screen a month stores timestamped screenshots of what each screen showed. Every plan is on the pricing page.

Choosing between Samsung VXT and another platform

  • Choose VXT P Series when the estate is all Samsung, IT wants single sign-on and panel health monitoring from one vendor, and 400 USD a screen a year fits the budget.
  • Choose VXT S Series when you have a handful of Samsung screens, one site and no SSO requirement.
  • Choose a cross-platform cloud CMS when you are leaving a MagicINFO server and have other brands in the estate. Our Samsung MagicINFO alternative page compares VXT, Xibo, Yodeck and Displayer at 25 screens, and the MagicINFO pricing guide covers what the old server and licenses cost.
  • Choose Displayer when a franchisor, an advertiser or a landlord asks what was on the screen, because proof of play with screenshots answers that, and when every team member should be included at no seat cost.

Whatever you pick, much of the weekly work is turning existing material into slides. If your notices start life as PDF reports or Word documents, a tool that can turn a report into presentation slides saves the copy and paste before anything reaches a screen.

How much does Samsung VXT cost per screen?

US software directories list VXT CMS S Series at about 20 USD per screen a month or 200 USD a year, and P Series at about 40 USD a month or 400 USD a year. Remote management is separate at about 100 USD a year for RM S and 200 USD for RM P. Samsung itself quotes through sales.

Is Samsung VXT free?

No. VXT has a 60 day free trial on three S Series licenses, with no payment details needed to start, but no free plan. After the trial every screen needs a paid CMS or RM subscription.

What is the difference between VXT S Series and P Series?

The S Series covers editing, scheduling, 170+ templates and basic remote control. The P Series adds Sync Play for video walls, proof of play, single sign-on, bulk screen enrollment, energy management, email and SMS alerts and API access, and includes both remote management tiers. It costs about twice as much.

Does Samsung VXT work on non-Samsung screens?

Partly. VXT is built for Samsung commercial displays, and Samsung lists Android 10 and later, Windows 11 and BrightSign Series 9 as compatible players. Another brand's panel works through one of those players rather than on its own.

Is VXT replacing MagicINFO?

Samsung is moving customers to VXT, and resellers report that MagicINFO on-premises reaches end of sale on December 31, 2026, with support through 2029. VXT is hosted by Samsung, so it removes the MagicINFO server you would otherwise patch and run.

Does Samsung VXT have proof of play?

Yes, on the P and X Series. It records what the player reported playing. It is a log rather than a stored screenshot of the screen, which is the format some franchisors and advertisers ask for.

What is cheaper than Samsung VXT?

Xibo Cloud Professional at 4.90 USD a display a month, Displayer Essential at 9 USD yearly, OptiSigns Pro at 11.25 USD yearly and Yodeck Premium at 12 USD all cost less per screen than VXT S Series. For single sign-on, Displayer Network at 24 USD yearly is below VXT P Series at about 33 USD.
