Signagelive pricing per player, and what the Standard and Web Content licenses cost

Signagelive is priced per player per year. The Standard license lists at 270 USD a year per device (200 GBP or 230 EUR), which works out to 22.50 USD a month, and the restricted Web Content license, for screens that only show web pages and web apps, lists at about 68 USD a year. Licenses are sold only through distributors and resellers, so your invoice comes from a partner. Modules such as proof of play reports and granular user permissions are quoted on top. 25 screens on Standard cost about 6,750 USD a year before modules and hardware.

How Signagelive licensing works

One license covers one player. A player is the device that runs the content: a Samsung Tizen or LG webOS display, a BrightSign player, an Amazon Signage Stick, an Android or Windows box. Signagelive does not sell hardware, so the screen or player comes from your AV integrator or your own stock.

The account itself carries no separate fee. Users and media players are unlimited on every account, which is unusual in this market and helps a company where many people edit the screens. What you pay for is the number of licensed players, multiplied by the term.

The channel is the second thing to understand. Signagelive sells exclusively through distributors and value added resellers. You cannot sign up and pay by card on the website. The reseller sets the final price, can bundle installation and content services, and is the one who quotes the modules. Two companies with the same screen count can pay different amounts.

What Signagelive costs for 10, 25 and 100 screens

Software only, per year, at the Standard list price. Modules, hardware and reseller services are extra.

Screens Standard license Web Content license
10 2,700 USD about 680 USD
25 6,750 USD about 1,700 USD
100 27,000 USD about 6,800 USD

The Web Content license looks cheap and is, as long as every screen only shows a URL. A lobby screen that shows a dashboard qualifies. A menu board with video loops or a waiting room playlist of images does not, so most mixed networks end up mostly on Standard.

The extra costs in a Signagelive quote

Modules. Proof of play reports, granular user permissions, proactive monitoring, secure dashboards, automated playlist creation and Active Directory integration are sold as modules, charged per Signagelive network rather than per screen. Prices are not published. If you need proof that a campaign ran, ask for the proof of play module as a separate line.

Multi-output and special licenses. Video walls and multi-output players need a different license than a single screen, and touch, outdoor or other non-standard setups can carry their own per device fee. None of these are published either.

Hardware. If your displays cannot run the player, budget for a supported device behind each one. A BrightSign player runs from about 360 USD, and Navori's StiX 3800 sells for about 376 to 440 USD at US resellers.

Support and services. A standard support level is included. Higher support tiers, training, content creation and custom reporting are quoted by Signagelive or the reseller.

Taxes and reseller margin. The list price is before sales tax and before whatever the partner adds for installation or management.

Signagelive pricing compared with direct per screen platforms

US list prices for 25 screens per year, at the tier that records what played. Read from each vendor's pricing page in October 2026.

Platform Proof of play tier Per screen a month 25 screens a year How you buy
Signagelive Standard plus the proof of play module 22.50 USD plus a quoted module 6,750 USD plus the module Through a reseller
Navori Cloud Essential, reporting scope quoted From 14 USD From 4,200 USD Quote through Navori or a partner
Yodeck Premium 12 USD 3,600 USD Direct, card or invoice
NoviSign Business Plus 17 USD yearly 5,100 USD Direct
Displayer Professional, with timestamped screenshots 14 USD yearly or 29 monthly 4,200 USD Direct, card or invoice

Signagelive has real strengths. It runs on almost every commercial display operating system, the account has unlimited users and players, and a reseller can install and manage the whole network for you. For a company that wants one AV partner to own the screens end to end, the channel model is the point rather than a drawback.

For a business that manages its own screens, the arithmetic is different. At 25 screens Displayer Professional costs 2,550 USD a year less than the Standard license alone, already includes proof of play with screenshots of what each screen showed, and bills monthly at 29 USD a screen if you do not want a term. You can see every plan on the digital signage pricing page.

Signagelive after the Navori acquisition

Navori Labs announced the purchase of Signagelive on August 6, 2025, and the combined group says it is the largest independent channel-only CMS provider by installed base. Both platforms are still sold, Signagelive keeps its own CMS and login, and the pricing page now points to Navori. Nothing has been announced about merging the products or changing license prices.

For a buyer this matters at renewal. Ask the reseller three things in writing: the price per license for the next term, whether multi-year renewals lock that rate, and whether the proof of play and permissions modules carry over unchanged. Our Navori pricing guide covers the parent company's own editions if your partner offers a move to Navori.

When Signagelive is worth it, and when a direct platform is enough

Signagelive is worth it when an AV integrator already supports your screens, you have a mix of display brands and players, and you want the partner to handle installation, monitoring and content. It also suits networks that only show web dashboards, where the Web Content license is one of the cheapest options anywhere.

A direct per screen platform is enough when your own staff edit the content, the screens are smart TVs or simple players you already own, and the reports you need are proof that each message ran. That describes most retail chains, clinics, gyms and offices, and our retail digital signage page shows how a chain runs it. If you are leaving, our guide on how to choose digital signage software gives a shortlist and the questions to ask, and the screen builder shows your own content on a working screen in two minutes.

Retail screens usually carry the same promotions as your paid ads, so it saves time to produce both from one source: a tool that can turn a product page into on-brand ad images gives the marketing team visuals for the campaign and the in-store loop at once.

How much does Signagelive cost?

The Standard license lists at 270 USD per player per year, 200 GBP or 230 EUR, which is 22.50 USD a month. The Web Content license, limited to web pages and web apps, lists at about 68 USD a year. Modules, special licenses and hardware are quoted on top by the reseller.

Is Signagelive a monthly subscription?

The list price is an annual license per player, with 2 to 5 year terms available. A monthly equivalent is quoted as 22.50 USD, but it sits on a one-year contract. Month to month billing has to be negotiated with sales or the reseller.

Can I buy Signagelive directly?

No. Signagelive sells licenses only through its network of distributors and value added resellers, so you buy from an authorized partner who sets the final price. The trial also starts with a demo request rather than a self-service sign up.

Does Signagelive include proof of play?

Not in the base license. Proof of play reports are one of the modules Signagelive charges per network, alongside granular user permissions, proactive monitoring and Active Directory integration. Ask your reseller to price the module separately.

Who owns Signagelive?

Navori Labs, the Swiss digital signage company, acquired Signagelive in August 2025. Signagelive keeps its own CMS, and former Signagelive CEO Jason Cremins joined the Navori Labs Group leadership team.

What hardware does Signagelive run on?

Signagelive runs on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS displays, BrightSign players, the Amazon Signage Stick, Android, ChromeOS and Windows devices. It does not sell its own hardware, so players come from your integrator or your existing stock.

What is a cheaper alternative to Signagelive?

For 25 screens with proof of play, Yodeck Premium costs 3,600 USD a year and Displayer Professional 4,200 USD, against 6,750 USD for the Signagelive Standard license before the proof of play module. Both are bought directly and billed monthly or yearly.
