Displayer

Signagelive alternative you can buy direct and bill by the screen

The usual Signagelive alternative is a signage platform you sign up for and pay for directly, instead of a license quoted by a reseller. Signagelive Standard lists at 270 USD per player a year, 6,750 USD for 25 screens, and proof of play is a separate module quoted on top. Displayer Professional is 14 USD a screen on the yearly rate, 4,200 USD a year for 25 screens, with unlimited team members, roles, approvals and proof of play with timestamped screenshots included. Signagelive is the better pick if an AV partner installs and runs your screens, and we say so below.

Build one of your Signagelive screens before the renewal

Type your business name and three notices, and the builder renders a working screen in your browser with the weekly schedule behind it. No account, no reseller call and no player to buy, so you can hold a real screen next to the quote you were sent.

Weekly schedule
  • Venue: restaurant, retail store, clinic, gym, office, school, plant floor, church, senior living or real estate office
  • Orientation: landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16
  • Layout: full bleed, main plus sidebar, or a menu board in three columns
  • Content: your business name and three short lines, prefilled for the venue you picked

The schedule strip underneath shows the same playlist placed on a weekly grid, which is exactly what the schedule view does inside the product.

Why teams look for a Signagelive alternative

Most people who leave Signagelive are not unhappy with the software, which runs on almost every commercial display. They run into one of three limits at renewal.

Facilities manager comparing a reseller digital signage quote with a laptop price list

The first is the channel. Signagelive sells only through distributors and resellers, so there is no card checkout and the final price depends on the partner. Two companies with the same screen count can pay different amounts, and the trial starts with a demo request.

The second is the module bill. Proof of play reports, granular user permissions, monitoring and Active Directory are sold as modules per network, and the prices are not published. A buyer who needs to show that a notice ran learns the real total only after the quote arrives.

The third is the owner. Navori Labs bought Signagelive in August 2025, and signagelive.com/pricing now points to Navori's pricing page. Nothing has been announced about changing license prices, but a renewal is a sensible moment to ask what the next term costs in writing.

Reading that table honestly

Signagelive wins for a company with Samsung, LG and BrightSign screens in the same network where an integrator installs, monitors and fixes everything. Unlimited users and players on the account, a Web Content license around 68 USD for dashboard-only screens, and a partner who answers the phone are real advantages.

It loses when your own staff run the screens, when you want to compare prices without a sales call, or when proof of play has to be in the budget from day one. Yodeck Premium is the cheapest line in the table at 3,600 USD for 25 screens. The full Signagelive breakdown is in our Signagelive pricing guide, and our own totals are on the pricing page.

What a Signagelive replacement costs at 10 and 25 screens

Software per year at the list rate. Hardware and reseller services are shown separately.

Signagelive Standard

10 screens is 2,700 USD a year and 25 screens is 6,750 USD, before the proof of play module, special licenses, hardware and the reseller's installation or management fees.

Yodeck Premium

10 screens at 12 USD is 1,440 USD a year and 25 screens is 3,600 USD, with playback reports. See the Yodeck pricing guide.

Displayer Professional

10 screens at 14 USD yearly is 1,680 USD and 25 screens is 4,200 USD, with unlimited team members, roles and approvals, groups by location and proof of play with timestamped screenshots. Month to month it is 29 USD a screen. A recent smart TV needs no box, and an older display needs a 30 to 100 USD Android, Chrome or Windows device. Every plan is on the pricing page.

How to move from Signagelive without a dark screen

1. Find the license end date. Ask the reseller for the term, the notice period and the next term's price in writing, and set a reminder eight weeks ahead.

2. Export your media. Download images and videos from the Signagelive library. Playlists are rebuilt from the source files, which takes about an hour per location.

3. Check what each screen can play. Displayer runs in the browser of a recent smart TV or on any Chrome, Android or Windows device. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS displays can run it through the built-in browser, and our digital signage player page lists what works.

4. Keep Signagelive running until the last screen moves. Pair one screen first and run the real loop for a week.

5. Set roles before launch. Invite each location manager as a team member, give them their own screens and switch on approvals.

6. End the license last. Once a location has run for a week on the new platform, tell the reseller not to renew those players.

What proof of play looks like on Displayer

On Professional and above, Displayer keeps the play record for every screen and stores periodic, timestamped screenshots of what the screen rendered. A franchisor can show a promotion ran in every store, and a property manager can show a tenant the lobby carried their message. The details are on the proof of play page.

Which Signagelive alternative to pick

Stay on Signagelive when

An integrator already supports your mixed display estate, you want one partner to own installation and monitoring, or your screens only show web dashboards and the Web Content license fits.

Choose Yodeck when

You are buying screens fresh and want the lowest price per screen with playback reports and a player shipped with the annual plan.

Choose Navori when

You want the parent company's stack, hardware included, and you are happy to negotiate through a quote. See the Navori pricing guide.

Choose Displayer when

The screens are TVs you already own, your own staff publish, and you must show what each one displayed. Professional is 14 USD a screen yearly or 29 monthly, with three screens to start.

What is the best alternative to Signagelive?

It depends on what you were missing. Yodeck Premium is cheapest at 3,600 USD a year for 25 screens. Displayer Professional costs 4,200 USD a year for 25 screens, includes screenshot proof of play and is bought direct, against 6,750 USD for the Signagelive Standard license before modules.

How much does Signagelive cost for 25 screens?

About 6,750 USD a year on the Standard license at the 270 USD list price, before the proof of play module, special licenses, hardware and the reseller's fees. Dashboard-only screens on the Web Content license, around 68 USD, would be about 1,700 USD.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Signagelive?

Yes. Yodeck Premium at 3,600 USD and Displayer Professional at 4,200 USD for 25 screens both cost less than the Signagelive Standard license at 6,750 USD, and both can be bought without a reseller and billed monthly.

Can I buy a Signagelive alternative without a reseller?

Yes. Yodeck, NoviSign and Displayer all sell direct with card or invoice billing. Displayer lets you start with three screens and see the yearly total before you pay, with no demo call required.

Does Signagelive have proof of play?

Only as a paid module, charged per network and quoted by the reseller. Ask for it as a separate line. Displayer Professional includes a play record with timestamped screenshots of what each screen rendered.

Can I keep my Samsung or LG displays?

Usually yes. Recent Samsung Tizen and LG webOS displays have a browser that can run Displayer, and older screens work with a 30 to 100 USD Android, Chrome or Windows device behind them. Test one screen before you commit.

How long does it take to switch from Signagelive?

About an hour of media export and rebuild per location, then a week of running one screen in parallel. Start eight weeks before the license ends so the reseller's notice period is not a surprise.

Price your screens before the Signagelive renewal

Pair three screens you already own, run your real loop for a week, and put the yearly total next to the reseller's quote plus the modules.
