Raydiant pricing and Displai cost per screen after the 2025 sale

Raydiant pricing is no longer published anywhere. Raydiant's assets, customer contracts included, were bought by Displai Systems in May 2025, and raydiant.com now redirects to displai.ai, which has no pricing page. The most recent figures in public listings put Raydiant at about 49 USD per screen per month for a single screen, with older listings at 59 USD on Standard up to 129 USD on Enterprise, plus a Raydiant media player at 169 to 199 USD per screen. At 49 USD, a 25 screen network is 14,700 USD a year in software before hardware, three to four times the per screen rate of the mainstream platforms.

Raydiant pricing at a glance

Displai does not publish rates, so every number below comes from a third-party listing or a customer contract, not from the vendor. We checked displai.ai in September 2026: the pricing address redirects to the homepage, and the site asks you to book a demo.

Line Reported figure Source and date
One screen, monthly 49 USD per screen G2 pricing listing, October 2024, before the rebrand
Standard plan, monthly 59 USD per screen Older review and comparison sites
Enterprise plan, monthly Up to 129 USD per screen Older review and comparison sites
Raydiant media player 169 to 199 USD per screen, plus tax and shipping G2 listing and review sites
Current Displai rates Not published displai.ai, September 2026

The honest reading: if you are a Raydiant customer today, the number that matters is on your last invoice and in your contract, not on any website. If you are pricing Displai as a new buyer, expect a demo and a quote, and treat 49 USD per screen per month as the starting point for your negotiation rather than a list price. Appspace works the same way for workplace screens, and our Appspace pricing guide sets its reported bundle against per screen rates.

What happened to Raydiant, and why it matters for your bill

Raydiant raised about 50 million USD between 2019 and 2022, including a 30 million USD Series B in February 2022, and built a restaurant and retail focused platform with its own player, an app marketplace, kiosks and an employee experience product. In May 2025 Displai Systems acquired the assets, including products, technology and customer contracts, and the product now runs under the Displai name at dash.displai.ai.

An asset sale does not cancel your contract. It does mean the company you signed with is not the company that will renew you. Three things are worth checking before the next renewal date:

1. The renewal clause and the notice period. Many signage contracts renew automatically for a full term unless you give notice 30 to 90 days ahead.

2. Whether your rate is locked. A contract assigned in an asset sale keeps its terms until it ends, but the renewal quote is set by the new owner.

3. Your content. Download the media files you uploaded before you decide anything, because playlists and schedules do not transfer between vendors.

What Raydiant costs for 10, 25 and 100 screens

Using the most recent reported rate of 49 USD per screen per month and a 169 USD player per screen. Your contract may differ in either direction; multi-location enterprise accounts are usually negotiated.

Screens Software per year Players, one time Year one total
10 5,880 USD 1,690 USD 7,570 USD
25 14,700 USD 4,225 USD 18,925 USD
100 58,800 USD 16,900 USD 75,700 USD

The software line dominates. The player is a one-time cost you have usually already paid, so for an existing customer the real question at renewal is what 49 USD or more per screen per month buys you against the platforms that charge 9 to 15 USD.

Raydiant pricing compared with other platforms

Twenty five screens, one year, software only, on each vendor's published yearly rate, read at their pricing pages in September 2026. Raydiant uses the reported 49 USD.

Platform and tier Per screen a month 25 screens, one year
Raydiant or Displai, reported 49 USD 14,700 USD
ScreenCloud Pro 30 USD 9,000 USD
Yodeck Premium 12 USD 3,600 USD
OptiSigns Pro 11.25 USD 3,375 USD
Displayer Essential 9 USD 2,700 USD
Displayer Professional 14 USD 4,200 USD

Every platform on that table plays menus, promotions and notices on a TV. What Raydiant charged a premium for was the package around it: its own plug and play player, restaurant integrations such as point of sale menus, a large app marketplace, kiosks, and AI based location insights for customer analytics. If you use those, the gap narrows. If your screens show a menu, a promotion loop and a daily notice, you are paying three to four times the market rate for features that sit idle. Our ScreenCloud pricing and Yodeck pricing guides break down those two in the same format.

Does Raydiant have proof of play?

Displai lists proof of playback among its platform features, and Raydiant offered playback reporting to enterprise accounts. What the report contains, and on which plan, is set in your contract. Ask whether it records what the player scheduled or what the screen actually showed. A playback log confirms the file ran; it does not show that the TV was on the right input or that the layout was not cropped.

Displayer's proof of play keeps a record of what each screen rendered and, on Professional at 14 USD per screen on the yearly rate, stores periodic timestamped screenshots of the rendered screen next to it. For a franchise or a restaurant group whose brand team or advertisers ask what ran in a given location, that picture is the evidence.

The costs that sit outside the per screen rate

  • Players. A Raydiant player per screen, and a replacement when one fails outside warranty.
  • Kiosks and touch screens, which are separate hardware and usually a separate line on the contract.
  • Integrations and apps. Some marketplace apps and point of sale connections carry their own fee or need a higher plan.
  • Employee experience and analytics products, sold as their own modules.
  • Onboarding, which Displai describes as customized, and which enterprise quotes often price separately.

If what you really used the employee side for was training staff on the break room screen, a corporate training platform that tracks completion per employee may do that job better than a looping video, and it leaves the screen free for the shift notices.

When Raydiant is still the right buy, and when it is not

Stay on Displai when your locations use its kiosks, its point of sale driven menus or its location analytics every day, when your contract rate is well below the reported list figures, or when a renewal quote from the new owner comes in competitive. Switching has a cost in staff time, roughly an afternoon per site, and that should be weighed honestly.

Move when your screens are mainly menus, promotions and notices, when the renewal quote is 40 USD per screen or more, or when the change of ownership has made support or roadmap uncertain for you. Our Raydiant alternative page compares the per screen platforms restaurant and retail groups move to, with 25 screen costs and the switch steps. Displayer runs in the browser on the TVs you already own, costs from 9 USD per screen a month on the yearly rate, schedules every site from one panel by tag, and can replace Raydiant players with the screen's own browser or a low cost Android or Chrome device. For a restaurant group, our digital menu board software page shows dayparted menus across locations.

How much does Raydiant cost per screen?

Raydiant, now Displai, does not publish pricing. The most recent public listing, from October 2024, shows 49 USD per screen per month for one screen plus 169 USD for the player. Older listings show 59 USD on Standard and up to 129 USD on Enterprise. Current customers should check their contract.

Is Raydiant still in business?

Raydiant as a company is not. Displai Systems bought Raydiant's assets, including its products and customer contracts, in May 2025, and raydiant.com now redirects to displai.ai. Existing screens keep running on the Displai platform, and accounts are managed at dash.displai.ai.

Is Raydiant free?

No. Raydiant never had a permanent free plan; it offered a free trial and a money back period according to review sites. Displai does not list a free tier either. Every screen needs a paid subscription, and the Raydiant player is a separate hardware purchase.

What does the Raydiant player cost?

Public listings put the Raydiant media player at 169 to 199 USD per screen, plus tax and shipping. It is a one-time purchase. Displai's homepage still describes plug and play hardware that connects to your screen, so expect a player on any new quote.

Can I cancel my Raydiant contract after the Displai acquisition?

An asset sale transfers your contract to the buyer on its existing terms, so the usual cancellation and renewal rules still apply. Check the renewal clause and notice period, give written notice before the deadline, and download your media before the account closes.

What is a cheaper alternative to Raydiant?

Most mainstream platforms cost a fraction of Raydiant's reported 49 USD per screen. Yodeck is 12 USD with a playback log, OptiSigns Pro 11.25 USD yearly, and Displayer 9 USD on Essential or 14 USD on Professional with screenshot proof of play, all without a mandatory player.

Can I use my Raydiant screens with another platform?

Yes, the screens themselves are ordinary TVs. Replace the Raydiant player with the TV's own browser, an Android stick or a Chrome device, and point it at the new platform's player. Test one location before moving the rest.
