Rise Vision alternative for business screens, Rise Vision competitors compared on price and proof of play

A Rise Vision alternative is worth a look when your screens are in shops, branches or offices rather than schools, and when someone needs evidence of what each screen actually showed. Rise Vision is inexpensive, 11 to 14 USD per display monthly on its business rates, but its reporting is uptime and status, not a picture of the screen. Displayer runs on displays you already own from 9 USD per screen on the yearly rate, schedules every site from one panel by tag, and on Professional stores timestamped screenshots next to every play record. The Rise Vision competitors business buyers shortlist most often are Yodeck, OptiSigns, ScreenCloud and Displayer, and the tables below price them per screen and at 25 screens.

Try the player before you compare plans

The builder below is the same player a paired screen runs. Type a venue name and three messages, pick a layout, and it plays in your browser with a live clock. Nothing to install and no sales call first.

  • Orientation: landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16
  • Layout: full bleed, main plus sidebar, or a menu board in three columns
  • Content: your business name and three short lines, prefilled for the venue you picked

The schedule strip underneath shows the same playlist placed on a weekly grid, which is exactly what the schedule view does inside the product.

Why people look for a Rise Vision alternative

Rise Vision is a solid, low-cost platform with a large template library, and it has built a strong following in K-12 schools. Its pricing page opens on the school rates by default, and much of the template and alert work is shaped around campuses. That is a strength if you run a district. It is the reason business buyers start looking around.

Three triggers come up again and again.

The first is evidence. Rise Vision reports on whether a display is online and sends status emails when it is not. Its 2026 addition, a CSV export of emergency alert delivery, proves that an alert went out. Neither shows what was on the panel at 2 pm last Thursday. A franchisor checking brand compliance, an advertiser paying for a slot, or a landlord asking about a lobby notice wants to see the screen.

The second is the tier ladder. Emergency alerts and live data sit on Advanced. SAML single sign-on, approval workflow and Power BI sit on Enterprise, which is billed yearly only. Interactive templates and touch are an add-on at 1,200 USD per display per year on top of Advanced.

The third is multi-site scheduling for commercial content. Dayparted menus, dated promotions and region-specific prices across 20 locations are a different job from a school announcement loop, and teams want to schedule against a location tag rather than build a presentation per site.

Reading that table honestly

On the yearly rate Displayer Essential is level with or just under Rise Vision Basic, but Rise Vision Advanced, Yodeck and OptiSigns are cheaper at the reporting tier. If your screens are in schools, or you mainly need emergency alerts pushed to every display, Rise Vision is a sensible choice and you should probably stay. The case for switching is narrower and more specific: commercial content across several sites, and a need to show someone what actually played.

What each Rise Vision alternative costs at 25 screens

Twenty five screens for one year, on each vendor's yearly rate. Rise Vision drops into its 11 to 69 display band at this size.

Platform and tier Per screen 25 screens, one year
Rise Vision Basic 119 USD yearly 2,975 USD
Rise Vision Advanced 144 USD yearly 3,600 USD
Rise Vision Enterprise 170 USD yearly 4,250 USD
Yodeck Premium 12 USD monthly 3,600 USD
OptiSigns Pro 11.25 USD monthly, yearly rate 3,375 USD
Displayer Essential 9 USD a month, yearly rate 2,700 USD
Displayer Professional 14 USD a month, yearly rate 4,200 USD

What the numbers say

At 25 screens Displayer Essential comes in about 275 USD a year under Rise Vision Basic, and moving from Rise Vision Advanced to Displayer Professional costs about 600 USD more a year. What that buys is a screenshot record per screen, dayparts and dated campaigns scheduled against location tags, and roles with approval before publish, without stepping up to an Enterprise tier. If none of those matter to you, the cheaper platforms above are the better buy. Every Displayer plan is on the pricing page, and the full Rise Vision rate grid, including the 70 and 200 display bands, is in our Rise Vision pricing guide.

Proof of play that shows the screen, not just the status

An online status tells you the player is connected. It does not tell you the TV was on the right input, that the panel had not gone to standby, or that the layout was not cropped after a resolution change. Those are the failures a customer notices first.

Displayer's proof of play keeps a record of what each screen rendered and when, and on Professional adds periodic, timestamped screenshots of the rendered screen stored alongside it. You can export the record as CSV for a campaign report and attach the pictures. Health checks send an email with the last frame when a screen freezes or goes black, so the problem is found in the panel rather than at the counter.

Screens and devices you already own

Displayer's digital signage player is a web page. The browser inside a recent Samsung, LG or Sony smart TV runs it, as does an Android stick, a Chrome device in kiosk mode or a Windows mini PC your IT team already manages. Pair it with a six-digit code and it downloads the schedule and keeps playing from local storage if the connection drops.

That matters when you move off Rise Vision, because the devices behind your panels can usually stay. Point the browser or kiosk app at the Displayer player, pair it, and the screen is on the new schedule. Device options are laid out on the signage app page, and Windows estates are covered on digital signage software for Windows.

Which Rise Vision alternative to pick

Choose Yodeck when

You want the lowest price per screen and a player shipped in the box on the annual plan. Yodeck Premium at 12 USD includes a playback log. More on our Yodeck alternative page.

Choose OptiSigns when

You want a very large app library on devices you buy yourself and a log is enough evidence. The tier ladder and add-ons are in our OptiSigns alternative comparison.

Choose ScreenCloud when

You have a larger budget and want polished dashboards and integrations. It starts at 20 USD per screen yearly. Our ScreenCloud alternative page prices it at 25 screens.

Choose Displayer when

Your screens are spread across several commercial locations, content changes by daypart or promotion, and someone outside the business may ask what was displayed. You pay per active screen, keep the devices you have, and on Professional get screenshots next to every play record. Scheduling across sites by tag is covered on cloud digital signage.

Stay on Rise Vision when

You run schools or a campus, your main need is emergency alerts on every display with a delivery record, or the K-12 unlimited licence already covers your buildings. None of the alternatives here beats that price for a district.

What is the best alternative to Rise Vision

For business networks the usual shortlist is Yodeck, OptiSigns, ScreenCloud and Displayer. Yodeck is the cheapest with a bundled player, OptiSigns has the largest app library, ScreenCloud leads on dashboards, and Displayer adds screenshot proof of play and multi-site scheduling by tag from 9 USD per screen on the yearly rate.

Who are Rise Vision's competitors

Rise Vision competes with Yodeck, OptiSigns, ScreenCloud, TelemetryTV, NoviSign, Screenly, Xibo and Displayer in cloud digital signage. In education it also meets Visix and campus-specific vendors, and in the enterprise segment Samsung VXT and Poppulo.

How much does Rise Vision cost per display

On the business rates, Rise Vision Basic is 12 USD per display monthly or 132 USD a year for 1 to 10 displays, Advanced is 14 USD monthly or 156 USD a year, and Enterprise is 180 USD a year, yearly only. Rates fall at 11, 70 and 200 displays.

Is Rise Vision free

No. Rise Vision has no permanent free plan for business displays. It offers a free demo, and schools, higher education and nonprofits get lower rates than businesses. K-12 schools can buy an unlimited-display Enterprise licence at 1,399 USD per school per year.

Does Rise Vision have proof of play

Rise Vision reports display uptime and status, and since early 2026 it can export a CSV showing when emergency alerts were delivered. It does not store screenshots of what each display showed. Displayer Professional keeps a play record plus periodic screenshots of the rendered screen.

Is Rise Vision cheaper than Yodeck

Usually not. Yodeck Basic is 8 USD per screen monthly against Rise Vision Basic at 12 USD for 1 to 10 displays. At 25 screens for a year, Yodeck Basic comes to about 2,400 USD and Rise Vision Basic to 2,975 USD. Compare the tier that includes the reporting you actually need.

Can I use my Rise Vision displays with another platform

Usually yes. Most Rise Vision screens are ordinary displays driven by a Chrome, Android or Windows device, and those devices can open another platform's player instead. Test one screen first, then move the rest site by site.

How do I switch from Rise Vision to another platform

Pair one location to the new platform and run both side by side for a week. Re-upload media, rebuild schedules against location tags, then move the remaining sites one at a time. Presentations do not transfer between vendors, so budget roughly an afternoon per site.

Put three screens up and compare the record

Pair three screens you already own, run your real schedule for a week, and compare the screenshot record with what your Rise Vision dashboard reports.
